Facilities

The Hall comprises one large room, furnished for various uses, with kitchen, two accessible toilets and a permanent ramp for ease of access.  Due to the wooden structure, smoking is NOT permitted within the building or the grounds. There is security lighting at both entrances.  The Hall has a premises licence, which permits the sale of alcohol and showing of films.

Equipment

The main room is equipped with Wi-Fi, audio-visual technology (projector, DVD player, remote-controlled screen, microphones, speakers and a hearing loop).  Blackout roller blinds are fitted at all windows to ensure a clearer screen image.  Tables in various sizes and comfortable chairs make this a versatile venue.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and electric kettles.  It is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and glassware.  Tablecloths are available.

How to Hire the Hall

Please make sure you have read the above documents regarding use of the WI Hall.

Complete the Hall Booking Form, online (next on the menu) or print it off and complete by hand.  It can then be posted to:  Gill Goodlad, WI Treasurer, Old Thatch, Tredington, CV36 4NL

What happens next?

You will be advised by email (or telephone if no email address provided) regarding:

  • The availability for your request;
  • Confirmation of booking;
  • Total cost;
  • Payment arrangements;
  • Details for access, setting up and closing your event;
  • How to change your booking details or cancel your booking.

Prices

The standard hall hire fee is £12.50 per hour.  This includes heating, lighting, use of kitchen appliances 

Tables, chairs and crockery are also available for separate outside hire.  

  • Green plastic chairs – £1 each
  • Large table (180cm x 75cm) – £5 each
  • Small table (120cm x 70cm) – £3 each
  • Crockery: up to 36 place settings available – cup/saucer, tea plate, dinner plate – £1 per place setting
